In-house Digital Templating
After purchasing your stone and authorizing the work that you need done, we will contact you to schedule the template appointment. Modern technologies we use for templating make it possible to avoid any mistakes. Our laser templating machine provides perfect precisoin, which is extremely important in countertop fabrication. In some cases we do not even have to take off old countertops, so our customers do not have to experience any inconveniences while waiting for their new countertop.
In order to get the most accurate measurements possible, to avoid delays and possible trip charges, we ask you to be aware of the following conditions necessary for the day you schedule the template appointment:
Cabinets: All new cabinets must be installed, level, and plumb. If leaving existing cabinetry, please be aware that existing countertops may have covered the top edge or face of the cabinets. The new tops will not cover this edge or face. As a result, any marring or discoloring of this cabinet edge or face must be addressed by a cabinet person or woodworker. BarefootFloor.com can not fix these issues.
Appliances: All appliances which join a countertop must be at the job site prior to templating, unless they are purchased from us.
Sinks and faucets must be at the job site by the template date. Cook tops must also be at the job site by that day. If sinks, faucets and cooktops are purchased from us, we will take care of it.
Plumbing must be disconnected by the template day. BarefootFloor.com will not handle any plumbing jobs. It is the homeowner who is responsible for plumbing.
Tear out: The home owner is responsible for the removal of any cook tops and sinks prior to the template date. For an additional fee, BarefootFloor.com will handle the tear-out of the original countertops on the day of the template appointment. Otherwise, the home owner must have the countertops removed by the template date.
